Salsa Verde Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 Tbsps fresh juice of lime
1 Tbsp of grated onion (white)
2 garlic cloves (large); crushed
6 onions (green); chopped
1/3 c of chopped cilantro
2 c of chopped tomatillos (fresh)
4-5 Serrano chiles
Instructions:
Place Serrano chiles in bake sheet. Broil them, turning occasionally ’til skin begins to darken & blistered. Have them removed from the heat then transfer into plastic-bag. Steam about 20 mins or more.
Remove them from the bag then peel skin off, chop. Add in rest of the ingredients, mixing well. Chill w/ cover for 60 mins.
